ACUM bloc says willing to assume governance in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - Those 26 MPs who made it to parliament on the lists of the ACUM electoral bloc have signed an agreement on the foundation of the ACUM political bloc and informed that they were ready to assume the governance. “We can form a government. We announce foreign partners that we assume the governance and that we have candidates for the office of parliament speaker and prime minister,” the leader of the Dignity and Truth Platform, Andrei Nastase, said.

According to Nastase, the ACUM political bloc will put forward Maia Sandu for the position of prime minister and Andrei Nastase for the post of parliament speaker.

The leader of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Maia Sandu, said that the bloc would have two factions in parliament – the one of the Dignity and Truth Platform and of the Action and Solidarity Party. The two factions will have a coordination council led by the heads of the two formations.
