European Parliament President conveys message on Moldova's Independence Day
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola today conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova.
The official spoke about a common European future.
"Happy Independence Day, Moldova! We move towards a common European future with prosperity, progress and perseverance," said Roberta Metsola.
The Republic of Moldova today marks the 34th anniversary of the proclamation of Independence, voted by the parliament on August 27, 1991. President of France Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz and the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk are expected in Chisinau.
