Council of Europe Secretary General to visit Chisinau next week
Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset will pay an official visit to Chisinau on February 12-13.
According to the Office of the Council of Europe in Chisinau, the official will launch the new Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova for 2025-2028.
During the visit, the official will meet with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Speaker Igor Grosu, as well as with representatives of civil society and judiciary.
The talks will focus on key priorities, including human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
The official will engage with students of Moldova State University following a discussion on Disinformation - a threat to European democracy.
