Russia's massive attack on Ukraine; Moldovan president says Ukraine urgently needs more air defense systems
Ukraine urgently needs more air defense systems and more support. Every delay costs lives. President Maia Sandu today conveyed a message to this effect, following Russia's attack on Ukraine last night.
The Moldovan president condemned the attack on more settlements in Ukraine.
"A brutal night in Ukraine. Russia bombed the cities of Lviv, Lutsk and Chernivtsi — where civilians were killed. This is daily terror. Homes are turned into ruins. Ukraine urgently needs more air defense systems and more support. Every delay costs lives," Maia Sandu said.
Last night, Russia launched a drone and missile attack on Ukraine, targeting the country's west, killing several people in the city of Chernivtsi near the Romanian border. The western Ukrainian cities of Lviv, Lutsk and Chernivtsi suffered the most from the Russian attacks and other Ukrainian regions were also hit.
