Estonian foreign affairs minister to visit Moldova: inauguration of Estonia’s Embassy in Chisinau, public lecture in Balti on agenda
Foreign Affairs Minister of Estonia Margus Tsahkna will visit Moldova on October 5–6. The Estonian official will meet officials in Chisinau and attend the inauguration of the Embassy of Estonia in Moldova.
The Estonian official’s agenda includes meetings with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popsoi, President Maia Sandu, as well as other officials.
On October 5, following the meeting between the two foreign affairs ministers, Mihai Popsoi and Margus Tsahkna will hold a joint news conference. The event will start at 16:10, at the headquarters of Foreign Affairs Ministry.
On October 6, Ministers Mihai Popsoi and Margus Tsahkna will go to Balti, where they will attend the official launch of the IMPACT North project, aimed at regional development in support of Moldova’s European integration.
Later, the two officials will deliver a joint public lecture at the Alecu Russo State University of Balti.
The official inauguration of the Embassy of Estonia in Chisinau is also scheduled as part of the visit.
