Moldovan electoral body says local elections to be held in six settlements on 18 May 2025
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC), at a today’s meeting, established that the residents of the Tabani village, northern Briceni district, would elect a new mayor on 18 May, after the position became vacant, following the mayor’s death.
On the same day, elections for the mayor office will be held in the Calugar commune, Falesti district, Chiperceni commune, Orhei district, Talmaza village, Stefan Voda district, Bolduresti commune, Nisporeni district.
Also, the electors of the Temeleuti village, Floresti district, will vote for a new composition of the village council.
Also today, CEC made public the list of political parties at the new local polls, set for 18 May 2025.
