Moldovan parliamentary delegation participates in PACE autumn session
Chisinau, Oct. 10 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan parliamentary delegation participates in the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) held on 10-14 October in Strasbourg.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the delegation includes MPs Mihail Popșoi, Ion Groza and Natalia Davidovici.
The autumn session's agenda includes debates on several current issues, such as Europe half a year after the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, inhumane and outrageous actions of the Russian Federation, food security in Europe: exports of grain through Ukrainian ports, military hostilities between Armenia and Azerbaijan. MPs will also discuss the European perspective for the Western Balkans, vaccine discrimination and the impact of Brexit on human rights on the island of Ireland. The autumn session will focus on honoring the obligations and commitments taken by Romania, Turkey and Hungary.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will address the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
