Over 30 initiatives included in 2025 Country Reintegration Activities Program
Country Reintegration Activities Program for 2025 was approved today by the Government. The document includes funding for 30 community development and institutional capacity projects to be implemented in the Security Zone localities.
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian said at the cabinet meeting that the financial allocations for the country's reintegration activities amount to 25 million lei and have been approved through the state budget law for 2025.
Among the actions to receive funding are the installation of photovoltaic panels in several localities, the expansion of public lighting networks, modernization works of some public institutions, construction of the Holercani Firemen and Rescuers Unit in Dubăsari district, providing a unique support for the eight Romanian-language teaching institutions in the Transnistrian region under the Ministry of Education and Research, and equipping medical institutions with new equipment.
Additionally, the project provides for the allocation of 3.34 million lei to Dubăsari District Council to partially compensate costs incurred by the owners and holders of agricultural land located beyond Rîbnița-Tiraspol route, due to illegal charges applied by Tiraspol at unauthorized control posts.
According to the Reintegration Policies Bureau, in 2011 - 2024, 14 government programs for national reintegration have been implemented, which provided allocations for 586 projects, worth over 189 million lei.
