Moldovan parliament submitted over 400 legislative initiatives last year

401 legislative initiatives were submitted to Parliament last year. Half of them were put forward by MPs.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, 194 initiatives belong to MPs, 157 to the Government, 33 legislative initiatives were presented by the President of the Republic of Moldova, and the People's Assembly of Gagauzia submitted five initiatives.

Parliamentary factions presented 179 draft laws, 10 projects were signed by deputies from distinct parliamentary factions, and the standing bureau submitted 12 legislative initiatives.

Last year, the Action and Solidarity Party faction submitted 134 legislative initiatives. The author of most legislative initiatives was deputy Veronica Roșca — 12 draft laws.

In the same period, the Communists and Socialists Bloc faction submitted 45 legislative initiatives. MP Tatiana Cunețchi had the most initiatives, 15 group initiatives and five individual ones.

Out of the 401 legislative initiatives, 296 have been adopted and 94 are under examination.
