Speaker's message after Munteanu Government's swearing-in

The swearing-in of the new Executive marks the beginning of "a new chapter" for the Republic of Moldova, and the mission of the government team is clear – to continue the transformation of the country and strengthen the European path. Speaker Igor Grosu conveyed the message to the new Cabinet led by Alexandru Munteanu.

"Today begins a new chapter for the Republic of Moldova. Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and his team embark on a clear mission – to complete the transformation of the Republic of Moldova," Grosu stated.

He emphasized that the authorities have a common duty to the citizens, which is to fulfill the commitment made for the country's European future.

"Together we have a duty to the people who have placed their trust in us: to be the generation that takes Moldova where it belongs – into the European family," he added.

The Cabinet led by Alexandru Munteanu was sworn in today in a ceremony held at the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova, in the presence of head of state Maia Sandu and speaker Igor Grosu. The new Government has 14 ministries and five vice-premiers, two of whom are without portfolio – for European Integration and Reintegration.
