Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/- All electoral offices of Moldova are working normally, and a voter turnout of over 34 per cent was registered at 16:00. The chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Iurie Ciocan, made the statement at a briefing.
The highest voter turnout was registered in Soldanesti - about 41 per cent. The lowest turnout is recorded in Cahul - 27 per cent.
"In Chisinau, 33 per cent of voters set in the list voted till 16:00. The most active electors were in Chisinau-based Botanica district, and the most passive ones - in Ciocana", Ciocan said.
The citizens will elect 459 mayors of settlements at the today's ballot.
