Access to terminal of Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau to be temporarily limited as of September 25
The access to the terminal of the Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau will be limited as of September 25, 2025, starting at 00:00, till September 30, 2025, at 23:59. The General Inspectorate of the Border Police (IGPF) made statements to this effect today.
Thus, on the aforementioned period, the access to the terminal will be allowed only to passengers holding tickets and travel documents, as well as authorized personnel and aircraft crews.
‘’The measures regarding limited access to the terminal of the Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau will be established due to the increased flow of travelers, in the context of the traditional pilgrimage of the Hasidic community, in order to ensure public order and passenger comfort, as well as to prevent incidents, including false bomb alerts,’’ the IGPF said.
According to the cited source, limited access is implemented following the decision of the Risk Management Group.
Under these conditions, authorities have urged passengers to travel responsibly and to arrive at the airport no earlier than three hours before their flight scheduled.
