VIDEO // Morning raids across country

Officers from the National Investigation Inspectorate (INI), together with PCCOCS prosecutors, supported by Fulger Special Purpose Brigade's officers and employees of the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) conducted a large-scale operation this morning across the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova. As part of the action, more than 250 searches were carried out, targeting over 100 individuals from various localities in the country.

According to the IGP, the raids are part of a criminal case addressing the preparation of mass disturbances and destabilizations, allegedly coordinated from the Russian Federation through criminal groups.

The searches are taking place both at the homes of the involved individuals and in some penitentiaries.

Authorities announce that additional details will be provided after the actions are concluded.
