The Ministry has also issued a set of recommendations for citizens, urging the population to limit non-essential travels during difficult weather conditions and to exercise increased caution in traffic and on sidewalks. Citizens are advised to wear footwear appropriate for the cold season, to adjust their speed to road conditions, to avoid nighttime travel and to ensure that their vehicles are properly equipped for winter.
