Airport VIP Lounge renamed, it resumed activity
Chisinau, April 11 /MOLDPRES/- VIP Lounge at the Chisinau International Airport was renamed the Express Lounge and its activity was resumed. The decision was approved by members of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE).
The VIP lounge's activity was suspended in August 2022, under a decision of the CSE. The decision was taken "to ensure security and anti-terrorist protection at critical infrastructure targets."
Another decision of the Commission sees that in the context of the second meeting of the European Political Community, on 1 June in the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its subordinate institutions will follow the same procurement procedure that was previously assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
