As many as 1,452 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 4,673 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,452 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which15 import ones. As many as 183,338 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 57 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians - 15, medical assistants –26 and auxiliary staff -16.
As many as 3,541patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized, of whom 306 are in extremely serious condition (57 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 9,018 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 16,985 are under supervision at home.
Another 567 people have been treated. As many as 164,888 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 28 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 3,899 people have died of coronavirus in all.
