As many as 1,573 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 9,376 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,573 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Fifteen out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 335,860 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 31 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (9 physicians, 12 medical assistants, 10 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 2,472 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 194 are in extremely serious condition and 24 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 9,992 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,973 are under supervision at home.
Another 1,498 people have been treated. As many as 313,316 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 45 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 7,710 people have died of coronavirus in all.
