
As many as 654 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,953 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 654 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 157,626 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 33 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –8, medical assistants –16 and auxiliary staff -9.
Over 2,000 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 232 are in extremely serious condition (45 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
Another 484 people have been treated. As many as 147,864 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 15 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 3,396 people have died of coronavirus in all.
