
Meteorologists forecast yellow heat warning in Moldova for 22 August
The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has issued a yellow weather warning for heat, for August 22.
According to meteorologists, on Friday, in several regions of the country, the maximum air temperature will reach between 33 and 35°C.
The warning primarily affects the central and southern regions of Moldova.
Authorities recommend that the residents avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, consume enough water and pay special attention to children, the elderly and people with chronic conditions, who are the most vulnerable in extreme temperatures.
