Operations of Unguri and Otaci customs posts to be temporarily suspended for modernization works

The operations of Unguri and Otaci border customs posts will be temporarily suspended in the coming days due to infrastructure modernization works. The Customs Service recommends that travelers and carriers plan their border crossings in advance to avoid possible delays.

According to the institution, at Unguri border customs post, the works will begin on July 7 at 12:00, and at Otaci - on July 13, also at 12:00. The works will include the installation of modular constructions intended to modernize the infrastructure and to develop the operational capacities of the customs posts.

To install and connect these to the information systems, the activity of the customs posts will be temporarily suspended for an estimated period of up to two hours, depending on the complexity of the technical operations.

The Customs Service recommends that travelers and transport operators take into account the time intervals during which the works will take place and plan their border crossings accordingly.
