
Chisinau city hall to provide police officers with one-off aid
Chisinau, 3 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau city hall will offer one-off aid worth 1,000 lei to employees of the Chisinau Police Department.
Representatives of the Chisinau municipality met yesterday with the Deputy Chief of the Chisinau Police Department, Chief Commissioner Alexei Grosu, and discussed future actions to strengthen security and public order in the capital, and the difficult situation in which there are more police officers as a result of the increase in prices for heating and other services.
Mayor Ion Ceban announced that he has taken the decision to offer a unique financial support worth one thousand lei to the employees of the Chisinau Police Department.
At the same time, the mayor specified that he will request the Municipal Council to approve a draft decision regarding the co-financing by the City Hall of the salaries of the police employees from the Chisinau Police Department.
