Raids in electoral corruption case in Călărași
National Anticorruption Center (CNA) officers, along with prosecutors from the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office conducted searches today in several localities in Călărași district, in a case involving acts of voter corruption.
According to the CNA, several representatives affiliated with political parties are suspected of trying to influence voters by offering them money, goods, services, or other benefits in exchange for votes for a certain party.
The raids aim to identify all involved individuals, document the acts, and hold those responsible accountable.
The CNA reminds citizens that they can report cases of electoral corruption or other suspicious activities through the hotline: (+373) 78 710 116, available permanently, including via Viber, Signal, Telegram and WhatsApp applications.
