Moldovan Customs Service staff to be cut by 200 persons
Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ – The number of Customs employees will be reduced from 1728 to 1520, according to a draft amendment to the 2007 decision on the maximum number approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Following the Customs Service down-sizing limit, it was established a new vision of its service organization and operation. The project goal is to streamline customs activity, announced Octavian Armasu, the Minister of Finance.
Customs administration previously had announced the initiation of actions to reform customs.
