
More than 23,000 electors ask for voting at place of stay in Moldova
Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has informed that the electoral bureaus of the polling stations received 23,562 applications for voting at the place of stay for the 1 November ballot so far.
According to CEC, 321 out of all applications are on behalf of voters with symptoms of COVID-19 and other reasons are invoked in the situation of 23,243 cases.
In the context, CEC reminds that the voters who, for health reasons or other solid grounds, cannot not come to the headquarters of the polling station, can ask the electoral bureau for voting with the mobile ballot box till 31 October 2020, 18:00. On the voting day, the applications can be made in written form till 15:00, if a medical certificate is presented too.
