MP Marina Tauber transferred from house arrest under judicial control
Chisinau, July 17. /MOLDPRES/- MP Marina Tauber was transferred from house arrest under judicial control.
The MP made the statement on a social network. "Today's decision to put me under judicial review is just one step toward light in a case that has slandered our entire team," Marina Tauber wrote.
Representatives of Chisinau Prosecutor's Office did not answer the phone calls to provide details.
Marina Tauber was placed under house arrest on May 2 after she was detained at Chisinau International Airport on her flight to Tel Aviv, Israel via Istanbul, Turkey.
The deputy is suspected of having knowingly accepted the financing of the electoral campaign supported by the Shor Party, declared unconstitutional, from an organized criminal group led by Ilan Shor. At the same time, she is accused of falsifying reports on the financing of electoral campaigns during the local elections for Balti mayor in November 2021.
