Physicians stomatologists from three countries bring together in Moldovan capital
Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - Physicians stomatologists from Moldova, as well as guests from Romania and Israel have brought together in Chisinau at a scientific conference dedicated to scientist Valentin Topalo. The event was organized by the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery and oral implantology Aresenie Gutanat of the Stomatology Faculty of Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF).
The head of the aforementioned department, Nicolae Chele, the first pro-rector, Olga Cernețchi, and the head of the Stomatology Faculty, Oleg Solomon, gave speeches before the participants.
Oleg Solomon informed that, under the decision by the Council of the Stomatology Faculty, the 2023 year was dedicated to professor Valentin Topalo and an initiative in this respect is also the magazine, Medicina stomatologică (The Stomatological Medicine), the current issue of which is dedicated to the departed scientist.
Lecturer Mihail Todiraș, who represented the Research Department of the Nicolae Testemitanu USMF, informed about the opportunities of research at the National Research Institute in Medicine and Health and their importance for the development of the medical and pharmaceutical sciences nationally and internationally.
The commemorative conference continued with two sessions of oral papers, in which news in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery and oral implantology was approached.
