
Two hospitals in Chisinau return to basic profiles without hospitalizing patients with COVID-19
Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- Phthisiopneumology hospital and Gheorghe Paladi hospital in Chisinau will be removed from the COVID-19 circuit in the near future and will return to their basic profiles. Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban made the statement today.
This week the sections with about 150 beds at the Phthisiopneumology Hospital and those with 110 beds in the old block of the Gheorghe Paladi Municipal Hospital will be closed. Gradually, other hospital institutions in the capital will return to their core business.
The mayor said that although the number of COVID-19 cases has decreased, the number of patients admitted to ATI remains high. He added that in the event of a new wave of infections, COVID sections could be reactivated.
