Unstable weather, rains forecast in Moldova in last week of April

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Passion Week or the Great Week, the last one of the Lent, as well as of April, will be marked by variable weather, from cold to summer air temperatures, with rains of various intensity, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has reported.

On 27 April, the weather will become dark and cool, influenced by a cyclone, due to pass nearby Moldova. Light rains are forecast. At night, the air temperature will oscillate between+1 and +6 Celsius degrees. In places, especially in northern Moldova, the danger soil frost of -1 degree remains. During the day, the air temperature will fluctuate between +6 and +11 degrees.

As of 28 April, the air temperature will increase by several degrees every day and so on 2 May, on Easter, the air temperature will grow to +26 degree during the day and +15 degrees on the Eastern Night.

At the same time, light local rains are expected this week, except for 30 April, when heavy thunderstorm rainfall is forecast. According to the tradition, if it rains on the Great Friday, the year will be rich.
