
GOVERNMENT BUILDS: Cogâlnic river bank in Hincesti region to be developed with new recreational areas, eliminating risk of flooding
Chisinau, July 1 /MOLDPRES/- Cogâlnic river bank will be used by developing recreational areas and eliminating the risk of flooding. A contract to this effect was signed today by the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Center, the city hall of Hincesti municipality and the contractor who will execute the works.
This development project is planned for implementation within 12 months and envisages the creation of an accessible and safe public space in the revitalization area for the city's residents.
According to the contract signed today, the entrepreneur is obliged to carry out all the works, stipulated in the contract, within the deadlines set by the general schedule of works and the execution schedule and of a quality corresponding to the provisions of the normative acts, ADR Centre said.
The total value of the project is more than 21 million lei (more than one million euro). The project will be financed from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development and co-financed by the applicant institution, which is the local public administration.
By carrying out the project, the local authorities aim to create a space dedicated to relaxation, recreation and socializing, which will enhance the life quality of Hâncești residents.
