Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/- Light music singer Ion Suruceanu, People's Artist, holder of the Order of the Republic turned 72 today.
In an exclusive interview with the MOLDPRES, Ion Suruceanu said he considered himself a fulfilled man.
For his merits, Ion Suruceanu was awarded the honorary titles Honored Artist of Moldova (1985) and People's Artist of Moldova (1990). In 1993 he was decorated with the Civic Merit medal, and in 2004 - Order of the Republic.Currently, the high school in his native village bears his name.
Ion Suruceanu devoted 54 years out of the 72 to the stage.
