Best Moldovan products promoted in Romania: 50 companies participate in the Moldova Presents Exhibition opened in Iasi
About 50 Moldovan companies are participating in Moldova Presents exhibition, inaugurated in Iasi, Romania. For four days, consumers from beyond the Prut River will be able to discover the best products manufactured in Moldova.
President of Moldova’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Sergiu Harea said that the exhibition, now in its 8th edition, had become a tradition and a real bridge of connection between the business communities of Moldova and Romania.
“We are present today in Iasi alongside 50 companies in strategic sectors of the national economy – viticulture, textiles, food processing, light industry, crafts and many other sectors that reflect the real potential of Moldova. We invite visitors and business partners to discover the diversity of products on display, the innovation brought by our producers and the bilateral collaboration opportunities generated by this event year after year,” Sergiu Harea noted.
Present at the event's opening, Romanian Ambassador to Cristian-Leon Turcanu said that Romania stayed the closest partner of Moldova on the European path, and this cooperation is increasingly translated into projects, investments and real partnerships.
“The today's exhibition presents Moldova as it is – a European space with hardworking people who have always known how to find balance between traditions and the need to adapt to the present. Here, on this bank of the Prut, we are the main EU consumers of products coming from Moldova. We do this out of solidarity, from the recognition of quality. Today, Moldova is being discovered and appreciated far beyond the borders of the Romanian space. Your wine sits at the same table with wine from France, Italy or Romania, just as the talent of young people has put Moldova on the map of important development sectors, such as IT or robotics. The today's event confirms once again that we are together and are looking for solutions to common problems in a continuously changing world, but one that also provides opportunities for the future,” the ambassador emphasized.
President of the Iasi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Paul Butnariu said that there was growing interest in Moldovan products in the Iasi County and invited entrepreneurs to build sustainable economic relations.
Alongside the Moldova Presents exhibition, the Romania – Moldova Business Forum will also be organized in Iasi, an event dedicated to expanding the bilateral economic dialogue and identifying concrete collaboration opportunities between entrepreneurs from both banks of the Prut River.
The Moldova Presents exhibition is a projection of the national exhibition, Made in Moldova, staged in Chisinau at the beginning of each year. It has also been organized in other Romanian cities, including Ploiesti, Brasov, Baia Mare, Cluj-Napoca.
The exhibition can be visited on November 7 - 9, 2025, at Palas Mall, Iasi, between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
