Increased tariffs for public services provided by Apă-Canal Chișinău
The Board of Directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) approved at today's public meeting the new tariffs for the public services of water supply, sewage and wastewater treatment provided by Apă-Canal Chișinău.
The newly approved tariffs are as follows:
- 12.99 lei/m3 for drinking water supply (an increase of 2.20 lei/m³ from the current tariff of 10.79 lei/m³);
- 12.23 lei/m3 for technological water supply (an increase of 4.12 lei/m³ from the current tariff of 8.11 lei/m³);
- 5.63 lei/m3 for sewage and wastewater treatment services for household consumers (an increase of 1.45 lei/m³ from the current tariff of 4.17 lei/m³);
- 10.16 lei/m3 for sewage and wastewater treatment services for non-household consumers (tariff maintained at the current level);
- 4.22 lei/m3 for the production and transportation of water for redistribution (an increase of 0.81 lei/m³ from the current tariff of 3.41 lei/m³).
The decision comes following a detailed analysis conducted by ANRE on the application submitted by the operator and the current economic factors affecting the operational and maintenance costs of the water supply and sewage infrastructure system.
The previous tariffs were approved in October 2023.
The new tariffs will enter into force upon ANRE decision's publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
