National Bank of Moldova launches application on money transfer for depositors of three robbed banks
Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/- The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) has placed on its official website an application allowing depositors of Banca de Economii (Savings Bank), Unibank and Banca Sociala (Social Bank) to easily and quickly find out the bank where their money was transferred.
The deposits, which have not been requested by customers of the Banca de Economii, on 12 October were transferred to Victoriabank, Moldindconbank, FinComBank, Comertbank and EuroCreditBank. The deposits of Banca Sociala were transferred to representations of Victoriabank, Moldindconbank and FinComBank, and the ones of Unibank were taken over by Victoriabank and Moldindconbank.
The depositors of the three banks, that are to be liquidated, will have access to their money at the headquarters of the above-mentioned banks, with the preserving of the initial contractual conditions, starting from 19 October.
A decision on liquidation of Banca de Economii, Unibank and Banca Sociala should be taken by BNM before 16 October, according to earlier information.
