Over 4,000 people applied for home under First Home Program
Chisinau, 2 January /MOLDPRES/- Over 4 thousand people have applied for a home through the First Home Program, since its launch until now. As a result, 3 871 applications have been accepted.
According to the data of the Ministry of Finance, the total amount of loans granted by banks for purchase of 3 871 homes is 1,937 billion lei, and the amount of the assets reached 968.7 million lei.
Out of the 3,871 beneficiaries, 2,720 are young families and 1,151 – young unmarried. The average age of the applicants is 31.3 years.
The average value of the homes is 591.2 thousand lei, and the average area is 60 square meters. Of these, 3 630 are in urban areas, and 241 - in rural areas. Most homes were purchased in Chisinau and Balti, Gagauzia and Cahul district.
At the same time, out of the total number of beneficiaries of the Program, 516 persons receive compensation within First Home 2, meant for people employed in the budget sector. Those who have more children in their care (First Home 3), 1,295 persons, benefit from compensation from state budget.
Allocations from the state budget receive 227 beneficiaries of the program, who are employed in private companies (First House 4).
The government program First home was launched in March 2018. Last week, the government decided to maintain the maximum margin of 2%, applied to loans granted under the Program.
