Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with President of Belgian Chamber of Representatives
The relations between Moldova and Belgium, the cooperation between the parliaments of the two states and the support provided for Moldova’s European path have been the main topics discussed at a meeting between Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and President of the Chamber of Representatives of Belgium Peter De Roover.
Igor Grosu said that it is very important for Moldova that one of the founding countries of the European Union stands by our country on its road to accession.
“In Brussels, I had a very good meeting with President of the Chamber of Representatives of the Kingdom of Belgium Peter De Roover. We discussed the relations between Moldova and Belgium, the cooperation between our parliaments, and the support that Belgium constantly offers to our country. For Moldova, it matters greatly that one of the founding countries of the European Union is by our side on the path to accession,” said Igor Grosu.
The parliament speaker thanked Belgium for the support provided to the country.
“True friendships are built over time and our relationship with Belgium is becoming stronger and stronger,” Igor Grosu emphasized.
