
Trademark, Quality Award for 2020 competitions launched
Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) launched today Trademark and Quality Award for 2020 competitions.
"There are two notorious competitions for supporting companies in Moldova, as well as for promoting them both on the domestic and foreign markets," CCI deputy head Mihai Bîlba said.
Attending the event, Viorel Iustin, director general of the State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI), a partner institution in the Trademark competition, said that this is an effective platform for promoting the best brands - and for the famous ones. , and for those in the early stages. "For AGEPI, this competition has a special significance, given that starting with the submission of the application for registration of a trademark, applicants take the first step in developing a successful brand, ensuring all exclusive rights on the market. At the same time, the economic activity of a country depends largely on the presence on the market of strong brands ", said Viorel Iustin.
The Trademark of the Year competition includes 15 nominations and 14 categories to which applicants can apply "for the most honorable distinctions offered only for outstanding results," says CCI. Interested people may submit applications and document package before 31 March 2021.
Companies from the country are invited to participate in the contest Quality Award for 2020, regardless of the legal-organizational form, number of employees and production volume.
The Trademark contest has reached 18th edition this year. During the 17 issues, over 1,500 brands were registered. The contest Quality Award is in its seventh edition.
