The Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) decided today to allocate 100 million lei to support farmers whose crops were affected by the late spring frosts this year and bad weather in July. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement after the CSE meeting.
Additionally, the CSE also decided to earmark over 510,000 lei for repairing the roof of Alunelul kindergarten and compensating the damage to the housing fund in Aluniș village, Râșcani district.
“We have completed the CSE meeting. We will help the farmers who suffered from the late frosts this spring and bad weather in July. The government allocated 100 million lei to the Ministry of Agriculture to compensate for the farmers' losses. We allocated 510,000 lei for repairing the roof of Alunelul kindergarten in Aluniș village, Râșcani. We will also compensate for the damage caused to houses. The government takes care of our people and their hard work,” said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
The late frosts this spring affected agricultural crops in some regions of the country, and the farmers announced that they had suffered losses.
