Moldovan deputy PM, business environment's representative discuss progress on European agenda, priority reforms

The latest progress in the negotiation process for accession to the European Union, priority reforms, investments and the development of the national economy have been the main topics discussed by the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov with members of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister.

“We continue to maintain a constant dialogue with the business community, in order to consult and jointly analyze the latest developments on the European agenda of Moldova,” said Cristina Gherasimov.

The deputy PM noted that those present at the event had discussed how the business environment can be involved in preparing the country for EU accession and how competitiveness can be strengthened, so that entrepreneurs from Moldova can fully benefit from the opportunities provided by the single market of 450 million citizens.

At the same time, Cristina Gherasimov underlined the need for constructive dialogue with representatives of the business sector, focused on identifying solutions and protecting the interests of the private sector in the process of negotiations on accession.
