116 projects, including for opening new nursery groups included in Single Programming Document for 2025–2027
Government has approved an amendment to the Single Programming Document for 2025–2027, by including new regional and local development projects aimed at improving social infrastructure, expanding public services, and enhancing the quality of life in communities.
The Document has been supplemented with 115 new local development projects, of which 99 projects are part of the National Program “Public Nursery Services – Employed Parents, Children in Nurseries”, 3rd edition, 2026, as well as with one regional development project.
Through the implementation of the 99 projects, 155 nursery groups will be created, rehabilitated or equipped. These interventions will ensure access to modern services for over 3,000 children from 142 localities across the country. Under the first two editions of the Program, 59 nursery groups were created for 1,247 children from 37 localities of the country.
Another 16 local projects will receive co-financing from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (NFRLD), for the implementation of investments carried out with the support of external partners, in areas such as energy efficiency, educational infrastructure, medical services, and water supply.
The Document has also been supplemented with a regional water supply project, which will ensure the connection of the municipality of Chișinău and several localities in Strășeni and Călărași districts to a safe and sustainable source of drinking water. The total value of the 115 local projects exceeds 587 million lei, of which almost 259 million lei are allocated from the NFRLD.
The regional water supply project is valued at 23.6 million euros, and the contribution of the Government of the Republic of Moldova amounts to 7.6 million euros.
