Government took next step to launch MobiSign digital service
Chisinau, April 4 /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet approved today at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization the new regulation on qualified trust service providers' activity.
According to the government's communication and protocol department, the document's approval will allow the launch of MobiSign service - an electronic identity solution based on mobile applications, the tool for authentication in the digital environment and signing of electronic documents. All this will increase the accessibility of electronic services, available in both the public and private sectors.
"The benefits of MobiSign are that users will avoid the need to use physical signatures or other forms of traditional authentication, providing a secure and simple solution for digital authentication. This solution will be particularly useful for the diaspora and foreign investors who want to access online services and transactions in our country", said Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.
The new regulation sets the way of requesting, granting, suspending, withdrawing and resuming the validity of the accreditation certificate; keeping documents related to the accreditation and registration procedure of trusted service providers; organizing the activity of reliable service providers.
