
Moldovan foreign affairs ministry hosts fourth videoconference of heads of Moldova's diplomatic missions abroad
Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has held the fourth meeting within the platform of communication and interaction between the Moldovan cabinet members and the heads of the country’s diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad. Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian was the guest of the event.
According to the MAEIE’s press service, the state secretary, Veaceslav Dobanda, pointed out that the fourth meeting with the cabinet members on the Ministry’s platform had the goal to coherently promote messages which regard the fulfillment of the Moldovan authorities’ firm commitment to find a peaceful, diplomatic solution to the Transnistrian conflict.
At the videoconference, Deputy PM Oleg Serebrian referred to the present developments in the Transnistrian file, the Chisinau-Tiraspol dialogue in the 1+1 format, the challenges faced by Moldova’s citizens from both banks of Dniester. The deputy prime minister for reintegration emphasized that the priority subjects in the focus of the decisions of the Reintegration Policies Bureau were: observance of human rights, access to services of public interest; energy-related problems; refugees’ crisis; the complicated regional situation, in the context of Russia’s unjust war against Ukraine and its dramatic consequences.
Moldova’s ambassadors and Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian were involved in the question-and-answer session. The participants agreed to further coordinate messages formulated to the international community, in order to achieve the goal of reintegration of the two banks of Dniester.
