Prime Minister met with Member of German Bundestag
The advancement of the Republic of Moldova on the path of European integration, measures to stimulate economic growth and attract investments, as well as developments in the regional security environment were discussed by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and Tilman Kuban, member of the German Bundestag.
Munteanu emphasized that the Cabinet is focusing on two major objectives: accelerating the European path and economic growth, including by attracting more foreign investors to the Republic of Moldova. According to the Prime Minister, the pace of reforms is appreciated at the European level, and the authorities aim to further increase the speed of reform implementation.
The German official congratulated Chișinău government for all the achievements on the European path: “We see a lot of progress and we will continue to support you in the necessary areas,” said Tilman Kuban.
Regarding economic activity, the officials discussed stimulating investments and encouraging large companies to enter the Moldovan market. In this context, they discussed the role of Chambers of Commerce and the benefits offered by the Free Economic Zones in our country. Priority sectors for investors include the financial sector, IT and modern agriculture.
