Progress in implementing public administration reform discussed at Moldova's government
Deputy Secretary General of the Government Lilia Dabija has chaired a meeting of the Secretariat for the Implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy. The participants in the event considered the progress made in the implementation of the actions set out in the Public Administration Reform Roadmap. They also examined the monitoring report on the Implementation Program for the years 2023–2026 of the Public Administration Reform Strategy of the Republic of Moldova for 2023–2030, as well as the Monitoring Report on the implementation of the Action Plan for the SIGMA Monitoring Report recommendations.
The data unveiled shows steady progress in the implementation of public administration reform. Thus, within the Public Administration Reform Roadmap, over 87 per cent of the actions planned for 2025 have been carried out.
As for the Public Administration Reform Strategy (2023–2030), by the end of 2025, 57 per cent of the planned actions had been completed, while 36 per cent were in the process of being implemented. At the same time, the Action Plan for implementing the SIGMA recommendations shows an overall completion rate of over 81 per cent, with 109 actions finalized out of a total of 133.
The government’s deputy secretary general emphasized the importance of joint efforts by central and local public administration authorities to ensure the implementation of ongoing actions, in order to achieve the goals undertaken in the field of public administration reform.
