Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration in dialogue with European Union Special Representative for Transnistrian settlement
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri and European Union Special Representative for the Transnistrian settlement Audronė Perkauskienė continued discussions on the main developments and dynamics of the settlement process and on the promotion of reintegration policies.
It was reconfirmed that the resolution of the Transnistrian conflict is possible only with full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, within its internationally recognized borders.
It was also emphasized that the protection and promotion of fundamental human rights and freedoms, especially in the Transnistrian region, remain a constant priority on the agendas of the Republic of Moldova and the European Union.
