Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration met with Ambassador of Canada to Moldova
On 9 February 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri met with Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Moldova Gavin Buchan.
The two officials discussed recent developments in the Transnistrian case in the context of the regional situation, and expressed a positive assessment of Moldovan-Canadian cooperation, with an emphasis on the assistance provided to our country.
Valeriu Chiveri expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Canada for the support, including on international platforms, of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
