European Commissioner for Enlargement to visit Moldova
European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos returns to Moldova for a new visit after her first visit to the country in early last February. The official has made statements to this effect in Brussels, during a meeting with the Moldovan delegation participating in the bilateral screening with the European Union.
“Official announcement and you are the first to know, outside my office, that I will visit Moldova for three days on May 9-11. So, we will celebrate Europe Day together. We will travel from the north to the south of the country, discovering the entire nation,” stated Marta Kos.
The European Commissioner for Enlargement visited in the beginning of February, 2025. The official was received by President Maia Sandu and discussed with Moldovan authorities the common priorities in the EU accession process.
Marta Kos backed a support package worth 1.9 billion euros for Moldova in the European Parliament.
