
Moldovan president thanked Natalia Gavrilița for sacrifice, efforts to lead country in period of multiple crises
Chisinau, February 10 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu thanked Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița for the sacrifice and enormous efforts to lead the country in a period of multiple crises.
The president announced she had taken note of the resignation of Gavrilița. "Despite unprecedented challenges, the country has been governed responsibly, with great care and dedicated work. We have stability, peace and development - where others wanted war and bankruptcy", wrote Maia Sandu on a social network.
The head of state pointed out that following the resignation of the prime minister, she will have consultations with the parliamentary factions and subsequently will appoint a candidate for the position of prime minister.
