189 participants in World War II to receive higher benefits

Chisinau, 9 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Monthly state allowance for participants in World War II could be increased. A draft law to this effect was approved today by Parliament's Social Protection, Health and Family Committee.

The draft provides for the increase of the amount of the monthly state allowance from 950 lei to 1250 lei.

Under the new regulations, it will be necessary to earmark additional financial resources worth 793,800 lei.

189 people will be able to benefit from the increased allowance.
