About 1,000 graduates of Moldova's Nicolae Testemitanu Medical University to take oath of physician, pharmacist
The Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) will hold the ceremony for taking the Oath of the Physician and Pharmacist for the graduates of the 2025 class.
The event will take place on June 11, starting from 11:00 at the Chisinau Arena (Calea Orheiului Street, 130).
The ceremony will be attended by: Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco, Education and Research Minister Dan Perciun, representatives of diplomatic missions in Moldova, university administration members, vice-deans, heads of departments, study heads, teachers, students, parents and friends.
This year, after passing their graduation and degree exams, 999 graduates will solemnly take the Oath: 710 locals and 289 foreign citizens from 16 countries. Out of the overall number, the integrated study programs were finished: medicine – 627 students, dentistry - 225, pharmacy - 72 and preventive medicine - 6, and bachelor's programs: public health - 14, general nursing - 15, optometry - 13 and technologies in radiology and imaging - 8 young people.
Another 19 individuals completed master's programs: human nutrition - 11, public mental health - 3, clinical optometry - 2 and molecular technologies in health - 3.
The ceremony will be held in Romanian and English.
