Alexandru Esaulenco appointed as SIS deputy head
Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/- Alexandru Esaulenco was appointed today as deputy head of the Intelligence and Security Service. The decision was taken by a vote of 54 MPs.
His candidacy was proposed by SIS director and was backed by the majority of MPs present at the plenary meeting.
Esaulenco previously held the position of head of the military counterintelligence department at the same institution.
SIS deputy head position has remained vacant after leaving in September by Ruslan Munteanu.
